My Webcam adapters are machined out of aluminum and finished in black anodize. The threads are turned to the same high standard
as the rest of my products. The benefit of making them from aluminum is that you will not get bits of nylon on your CCD chip
interfering with the quality
of your pictures and the threads are less liable to cross.
